Your Corevibe Class Experience

Important Note: New clients must arrive 10-15 minutes before class start time.

Your first class is all about learning the machine, getting comfortable, and feeling safe.

If you are running behind, email us at hello@corevibestudio.com or text us at +1 408-359-4032 and we can early cancel the class and return it to your account. We would rather you arrive safely and have a calm, focused first experience with us.

Before Class

  • We require grip socks for safety reasons. If you don’t have any, you can pre-order them online or buy them at the studio for $15 + tax.

    We also recommend bringing a towel because you’ll sweat!

  • Grab your water bottle and eat a little snack. It’ll help you sustain the hard work you’ll put in a bit.

  • This is so you can get an introduction to the space and machines. We get that things happen. If you can’t make it early, we can early cancel you from class and put the class back onto your account.

  • If there’s no front desk, wait in the front check in area. Your front desk or coach might be in the restroom or is finishing up a class.

    Check in and let your coach know you’re a newbie and we will set asid more time to walk you through the workout and machine about 5 min before class starts.

  • Come into waiting area and place you items in the cubbies. Wait until the Coach opens up the Pilates room.

    Feel free to stretch, foam roll, and use the free Normatec Massage gun.

In Class

  • When your Coach opens the door, grab a red light mat and find your favorite reformer machine. Place the mat in between the pit.

  • Your coach will be giving clear cues, assisting and helping you modify if needed throughout class. You will also have other amazing clients around you to follow.

    But we don’t expect greatness for your first class. You’re trying something new and this is not supposed to be easy. But who knows, you might be a Corevibe natural… you never know!

  • Our coaches meet you where you are and help you progress with thoughtful challenges and supportive modifications.

  • We move our muscles slowly 4 counts in and 4 counts out in order work your type-1 “slow twitch” muscles. This in turn promotes excessive post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). This means, your body will continue to burn calories at a higher rate even after you finish exercising in order to replenish oxygen levels and repair muscles.

    TLDR: Corevibe will amplify your entire day’s calorie and fat burn more than other cardio and strength training workouts.

  • We know what you’re thinking - that we just told us to go slow and try to achieve afterburn. Yes, majority of our classes will be using slow twitch muscle activation; however, to achieve optimal fitness, the body needs to incorporate more dynamic, fast twitch muscle movement. This will increase your metabolism.

    TLDR: Going slow and fast in 1 workout is hard. Your body will need to adapt and burn MORE.

After Class

  • You did it! Give yourself and your neighbors a round of applause.

  • You will have wipees placed on your machine. Please help us wipe down everything you touched!

  • Hang the red light mat on the handle of your machine so the mat can dry for the next class.

  • Share with your Coach how you felt and ask any questions you might have

  • You just worked out hard and your body needs to recharge. Drink water, eat your protein, and rest. Sign up for a Corevibe Reset Session (compression therapy and red light) if there’s one available.
